Which devices will I learn to repair?
All of our training courses have two parts to them:
- Knowledge Based Training
- Skills Based Training
After training tens of thousands of students (and counting) we have found that the BEST repair technicians have a solid grasp of both. We call it the "How" and the "Why."
"How" to fix a specific repair on a specific device is the Skills, and "Why" to apply a particular troubleshooting method, why a signal moves through certain sections of the phone, etc., comes from Knowledge. Our On-Campus classes are only the Laboratory Skills based training sessions which is where you learn the specifics of how to repair various issues, techniques to use, etc.
When you register for one of our classes, you get immediate access to our Learning Management System (LMS) for you to begin your Knowledge based training. While it's not necessary for you to complete all the Knowledge courses before attending the Skills Workshops, we do highly recommend it if you can. You will have a much better experience because you'll be asking different questions and getting different answers than if you came into the class with no prior knowledge.
Our goal is to ensure you are comfortable, confident and knowledgeable to repair ANY device you work on regardless of how new or old it may be, or who manufactured it. Our training is vendor neutral, which means that you will be able to work on any phone you encounter, no matter if it's an iPhone, Samsung, HTC, LG or anything else.
With that being said, we do cover all the most popular devices such as iPhones, Samsung Galaxies, Tablets, etc. in our Repair Labs.
